Title: Basic Drawing (non-majors)

Description: This studio course is an introduction to the basic techniques of drawing, specifically designed for students not pursuing a career in art. The focus of this course is to provide the student with an appreciation for drawing through the development of empirical drawing skills, utilizing a wide range of traditional mediums. Fundamental techniques, consistent in historic and contemporary artistic practices, will be stressed. No prior drawing experience necessary. A lab fee is required.
