Tony received his PhD in philosophy from the University of Utah in 2022. Within philosophy, Tony is interested in ethics (both normative and applied), decision theory, and philosophy of science and medicine. Tony is particularly concerned with responding to the philosophical and ethical problems created by emerging technological, scientific and medical tools. He is worried about the problems we face as human beings, and his goal as both a researcher and a teacher is to find better ways to think, write, and talk about these issues. At Snow, he teaches research writing, philosophy, critical thinking, and world religions. Some of his most recent classes taught include intermediate research writing, reasoning and rational decision-making, business ethics, and ethics and personal computer processing.
