Title: Level 2 Oral Communication

Prerequisites: Placement in ESL 0470 through the ESL department placement exam or successful completion of ESL 0270 with a B (85%) or better.

Description: This course is designed to continue the development of novice-intermediate ESL students. Students will improve "Basic Interpersonal Communicative Skills" and "Cognitive Academic Language Proficiency." In addition to focusing on vocabulary/grammar development, the course aims to increase contact hours and conversation practice. Students will be able to acquire CEFR Basic - Independent (A2-B1 level) vocabulary. This course is cross-listed with CED 00470 (Level 2 Oral Communication – Continuing Education).
