I am a Professor of Practice in Software Engineering. My background combines academic credentials with hands-on industry experience, emphasizing the application of engineering principles to real-world challenges. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering with an emphasis on web development from Snow College between August 2016 and May 2021. After graduating, I served in the Snow College IT Department, holding roles as a System Administrator and DevOps Engineer. During this time, I played a pivotal role in deploying Snow College's first GIT server and spearheaded the introduction of a Kubernetes cluster that streamlined the management of Docker containers, enhancing the institution's technological operations.
Outside of my primary professional responsibilities, I enjoy rock climbing with my wife, which complements my inclination for challenge and exploration. At home I manage a homelab, which is my miniaturized data center set up at home for testing and learning. There I continually experiment with the latest open source software projects and computing innovations.
