Task One: Preparation (due April 20)
- Review your degrees, program outcomes, and program assessment plan to familiarize yourself with the work your department did last year.
- Review the goals set last year, and prepare to report on them.
- Contact Vance Larsen for needed updates to your Canvas repository.
- Gather the artifacts needed for the assessment activities planned for this year. Please include artifacts from all modalities of teaching and compare assessment results between modalities where necessary.
- If needed, contact Vance Larsen or Academic Affairs staff for help.
Task Two: Assessment (due May 20)
- Following the faculty-wide meeting on Assessment Day (May 7), organize faculty in your program, program group, or department to carry out this year's planned assessment work.
- Following the assessment work, analyze and reflect on the results. Create a page to post your analysis and reflection for this prior year. Title the page [Year]-[Year] Program Reflection. On the page you should have the following sections:
- Status of Last Year's Goals,
- Assessment Results,
- Reflection on Results, and
- Next Steps.
- Send the link for the results document to Vance Larsen, Faculty Fellow for Assessment.
Task Three: Program Communication (due May 20)
- Review your program pages to identify any changes that are needed for the page itself or the catalog pages linked from it. Email David Allred with any needed changes.
- Review your department webpage to identify and changes that are needed. Email David Allred with any needed changes.
