General Education Requirements

Your general education requirements are a key part of the associate and bachelor degrees you can earn at Snow. No matter what degree you earn or classes you take, your general education falls into two main groups:

  • GE Core: classes in math, American institutions, and English
  • GE Knowledge Areas: classes in fine arts, physical science, life science, humanities, and social science

You have a lot of freedom to choose the general education classes that are best for you, and—no matter how you fulfill the GE requirements—you can be sure that you will develop and sharpen your academic abilities. Below are the outcomes that are the goal for GE classes; consider how these skills will be important in your post-college career. Students who graduate from Snow College with an associate of science degree will
