I grew up in Salt Lake City, UT. I had an amazing math teacher in 8th grade that helped me make the decision to be a mathematics teacher. I attended the University of Utah for two years and then went on to finish my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Southern Utah University. I met my husband while attending SUU and we were married after I graduated in 1995. We moved to Mt. Pleasant, Utah where I started teaching at Wasatch Academy. In 2001, we moved to Ephraim, Utah where I began teaching as an adjunct at Snow College. In 2008, I completed my Master of Education degree in Mathematics Education at Utah State University and in 2010 was hired as a full-time instructor at Snow College. I love teaching at Snow College and love the students here. I can't image teaching anywhere else.
My husband and I have four amazing children (most of the time). I love watching my children grow up, especially watching them participate in sports and music performances. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sporting events, reading a good book, and traveling (which I don't do enough of).
