I grew up in Salt Lake City, UT and went to Brigham Young University. I married my husband, Jim, and a year later graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Math Education. I worked for WICAT developing educational software while my husband finished his degree. We moved to Alaska, where my husband was from, and had 7 children. We lived there for 17 years. I homeschooled my kids, tutored math, and taught small groups of homeschoolers. When we moved to Utah I returned to school and earned my Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from BYU. I worked for a few years at UVU and came to Snow in 2015. I love teaching at this beautiful little campus.
My husband and I have 7 children and 17 grandchildren. When I’m not teaching math or playing with grandchildren, I love quilting and reading a good book.
