I was born and raised in Utah. From a fairly young age, my parents and teachers helped me develop an affinity for mathematics (and science). I’ve had to work hard to understand the concepts, but I am amazed at the patterns, connections, and math’s ability to model the world around us. Since I started teaching full-time at Snow College in 2000, I have tried to share this appreciation with my students, whether it be in statistics, linear algebra, or any class in between. My favorite type of food is Italian (it's genetic) and in my free time I enjoy relaxing with my wife and cats, reading, or working in the garden.
