I was born in Maryland while my dad was serving in the Navy. We were there for a few years and then moved to Utah where my father worked at BYU. When I was 8 years old, my father started a new job at Snow College and I have pretty much lived in Ephraim since that time. I loved growing up here in Ephraim and I’ve been blessed to have been able to stay in the area to raise my family here. I met my husband while attending Snow College and we were married in 1989. I graduated from Snow College in 1990 and had my first baby in 1991. My parents and husband were very encouraging in helping me finish my education and so I continued to finish my degree through outreach programs with SUU and was able to graduate in 1993 – just a few weeks away from giving birth to my second child. I stayed involved with my children’s education and after they were all in school, I learned of an opportunity to become an adjunct instructor of mathematics at Snow College. That was in 2014 and the rest is history! I love teaching at Snow College and I have enjoyed getting to know the students.
My husband and I have five wonderful children and fourteen grandchildren. We’ve been able to raise all of our children here in Ephraim, Utah. Four of our children are married and our youngest is currently attending Snow College. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing board games, listening to a good book, scrapbooking, and teaching, of course!
