Rocky Mountain Power Foundation Awards Two Scholarships to Snow College Students

Ephraim - A $2,000 grant from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has been awarded to two local Snow College students, Taryn Aime and Erika Oveson. Both students are the first in their family to attend college and are interested in pursuing careers in the medical field. 

Aime graduated from North Sanpete High School where she was junior and senior class president, and she is attending Snow College to study nursing. She currently has her Certified Nurse Assistant license and plans to become a pediatric nurse to combine her love of medicine and taking care of children. There are many goals Aime has for her future and is excited for this scholarship to help her accomplish them. 

Oveson is a sophomore at Snow College. She is studying science and plans to become a physical therapy assistant. She enjoys physical therapy because she can work with all ages of people, helping them to feel their best. She was raised by her grandparents in Spring City, Utah, and was active in track and field in high school. She has been working hard to support and pay for school herself and is extremely grateful to receive this scholarship.
