The objectives of the Snow College Department of Theatre Arts are two-fold; they include
the study of dramatic literature and theory, theatre history, acting, set design,
lighting design, costume design and film. In addition to the scholarly exploration
of these subjects, the theatre program emphasizes the practical application of knowledge
gained and skills learned through annual performances before live audiences.
You may be interested in applying for a scholarship in the theatre department. We
offer two kinds of scholarships: performance and technical.
To qualify for a theatre performance scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year, you are invited to visit and sign-up in person or schedule an in-person audition consisting of two contrasting monologues.
Auditions will be held Saturday, March 15.
Following all interviews and auditions on both audition days, interested students and families are invited to take a tour of our performance facilities, meet the faculty, and participate in an informal Q&A session. Taped auditions and online portfolio submissions are accepted via email to snowcollege.theatre@snow.edu.

To qualify for a technical theatre scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year, you are invited to submit a portfolio and/or resume of your experience for consideration and prepare for an interview of your interests and work.
Interviews will be held Saturday, February 3 for early consideration, March 2 for standard scholarship dates.
If you are unable to attend in person, a digital interview process may be requested. Taped auditions and online portfolio submissions are accepted via email.
