Personal and Family Finance
Students who choose this emphasis will learn how individuals interact with the resources that are available to them, as well as the strategies, principles, and skills that lead to financial success. Students will become better prepared to not only succeed personally but more qualified to serve others in a variety of market-driven roles and positions that society values (i.e., society wants to pay people who specialize in these areas). Below is a list of some of the career options within this field that students may want to consider pursuing. Some of these options are possible upon graduation from Snow College, and some will require additional degrees, licenses, or experience. Our department will facilitate opportunities for students to interview or shadow professionals currently serving in positions such as these that they might more effectively determine if a specific role is a desirable option to pursue.
