Course Description

This course introduces students to the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence (AI) and its role in education, the workplace, and daily life. Students will explore foundational AI concepts, ethical considerations, and hands-on applications across disciplines. Emphasis will be placed on developing AI literacy, understanding its limitations and benefits, and learning to integrate AI tools ethically and effectively into academic and professional contexts. Through projects, discussions, and guided exploration, students will leave the course confident in their ability to use AI as a tool for creativity, productivity, and responsible innovation.

Justification

Artificial intelligence is transforming every sector, including education, healthcare, business, and the arts. As future professionals, students must understand how to critically and ethically use AI tools. This course helps learners across all disciplines build digital literacy, recognize ethical challenges, and apply AI in meaningful, responsible ways to enhance learning, productivity, and communication.
